Safety Professional’s Role in Pandemic Planning

Deborah Roy is current President of SafeTech Consultants, Inc, consulting on global safety and health management systems, Total Worker Health, risk assessment and sustainability. She recently retired as Corporate Director of Health, Safety and Wellness at L.L.Bean where she led a staff and programs that impacted 10,000 employees globally for twelve years. She was inducted as a Fellow by both the American Association of Occupational Health Nurses and the American Society of Safety Professionals. Deborah is the current President of ASSP. She has been presenting webinars and podcasts addressing the COVID-19 Pandemic since its onset.

Keynote – Tim Irving

OSHA Update

Tim Irving will present a variety of OSHA updates at both the Regional and National evel to include; OSHA COVID-19 in the workplace update and available resources as well as and review, new enforcement guidance, rulemaking status and Compliance Assistance Campaigns. Tim Irving is the Deputy Director for the Directorate of Construction in the OSHA National Office.  Previously Tim worked as the Assistant Regional Administrator (ARA) working in the OSHA Boston Regional Office with the Cooperative and State Programs team, as a   Compliance Assistance Specialist and a Compliance Safety and Health Officer on the construction strategic team in the Boston South Area Office.  Tim has been with OSHA since 2001 and holds both journeyman and master electrician licenses, he has his degree in management from the University of Massachusetts, has earned professional designations in risk management, construction safety, and is a Certified Safety Professional.
