Submission deadline is April 30th

The ASSP Region VIII New England Area Chapters invite presenters for the 25th Anniversary Professional Development Conference to submit proposals for review by its PDC Planning Committee. Thank you for proposing to speak at this special anniversary meeting!
Our speakers provide attendees the opportunity to build professional skills and knowledge, tackle and provide solutions to new and existing challenges in the Safety, Health and Environment field, and promote the development of new entrants in our field. Case studies, regulatory reviews, interactive sessions and a focus on current issues are all popular. The PDC includes a variety of practical and technical programs which include management techniques and soft skills.
Presentations should be timed to run inside of 60 minutes including the question-and-answer portion (50 minutes plus 10-minute Q&A). Each presentation room will be provided with an LCD projector, typically an HDMI connection, projection screen, microphone (lapel and/or podium mic). Some sound will play through integral projector speakers, however, you may wish to bring speakers if that is an important aspect of your presentation for videos, etc. Plan to bring your own laptop or device for presenting. Easel pads and markers are usually available if requested.
Proposals are reviewed and scored by our Speakers Committee. Those submitting presentations selected will be contacted by email to confirm arrangements such as date and time slot on the preliminary schedule. A photo (head shot) may be requested at that time (voluntary).
Submissions are done on the form linked here during the window and require enough information for topic, content, learning objectives, speaker bio, and brochure description to meet CEU requirements.
